I’m pretty thankful that this is a class at SCSU. As a first year freshman, I had no say in the matter when it came to choosing my classes. Of all the technology classes that Southern has to offer, this one has got to be the best. Who doesn’t want to take a class about flying drones and editing videos? I also like how instead of having to purchase some over-expensive textbook that you’re never going to use probably ever, you purchase your own drone, something that can be used outside of class and something you get to keep for your own video-making adventures!

Here is a lovely photo taken in September of my parents’ house, we live in a beautiful condominium in the great town of Wallingford. Being the amateur I am, you can see me standing on the porch. As you can see as well we have a lovely collection of cars piled up in the driveway with another in the garage and one on the lawn. The Crown Vic on the lawn is my favorite, it’s a decommissioned police car. It’s always a blast whenever my sister let’s me use her Police Interceptor, since everyone on the road thinks you’re a cop they don’t tailgate you and get out of your way on the highway!

Here was a photo taken this Fall with the kids displaying the iconic YMCA letters with their arms! Once I get a drone with a downward facing the camera I would love to get the kids to get together to form a giant YMCA!

Throwback to September, with me trying to figure out how to work this magnificent drone. This candid features the second after I complete a flip with my drone. You can tell by the faces of amazement displayed on the kids that drone flips are probably their favorite trick!
Did we mention that we love SAGE yet?
SAGE is short for the YMCA’s school aged growth and enrichment program, a before and after care program that is fun for all!
